English Week Wrap Up

The English Week is already over. We celebrated the 11th edition. It's unbelievable! We enjoyed it a lot as we always do. Have a look at the photos below. They will remind you how much fun we had during the festivals.

Radio Lloret

On Tuesday, some children went to Radio Lloret to talk about the English Week. Arnau, Roger, Claudia, Juliet, Yaiza, Carla, Oskar, Mª Carmen and Sol had the chance to visit the radio and learn a lot about how it works. After some advice, they sat down and answered the questions the reporter asked them. They all had so much fun! Good job kids! (you can listen to the podcast here)

This year we have celebrated the English Week's 10th anniversary. It's been a great success! Children did their best ever in the festivals! Many parents came to school to tell a story or sing a song and we really appreciate it. We would like to thank all parents and teachers for their unconditional support throughout these 10 years. Passion For Fashion

We had sooo much fun today at school. We watched an English play at our school's main hall. It is called "Passion For Fashion". We really enjoyed it from the very beginning. Check out the photos below!

1st Day of School

Yesterday was the very first day of school. Everyone looked very excited! Children carried their new schoolbags, new notebooks and books. Have a look at the photos below.

The Happy Prince Play

Early morning today, we went to the theatre. 4th, 5th and 6th grade were ready to watch a play called The Happy Prince by Oscar Wilde. We loved it! However, the ending was quite sad. Back at school we talked about feelings, likes and dislikes... Ask your child about it at home.

English Week 2014 Opening Ceremony by 6th Grade

And The Winner Is... Mireia!!

Mireia Ramon is the winner of The Fonix competition this year. She is the absolute winner of the 6th grade category of Catalonia.
Today, we were invited to attend the awards ceremony in Barcelona. Mireia got a two-week stay in an English summer camp and a diploma. Congratulations! We are so happy and so proud of you sweetheart! Keep working hard! 

The Fonix 2013

On Saturday morning, Mireia went to El Prat to do the final test of The Fonix competition. It was a wonderful day. Soon, we'll know the results. Here she is with another contestant, Marta who turns out to be one of her best friends. Good luck girls!

Today, Elena and Mireia went to Girona to do an English Test for The Fonix Competition. They were very excited to be there. Mireia's sister, Anna, was there, too. They did a great job! We are very proud of you girls! Fingers crossed!
