5th grade Interdiciplinary Project

In early June, we worked on the Cinema Project for about two weeks. We got in groups and started playing games, designing posters and doing jigsaws to name but a few. Children had the time of their lives while learning more about the cinema topic. Ask your child to know a bit more about the experience. Click on the video below.

Acting Out Project in 4th grade

During the last four weeks we've been working on our drama skills in 4th grade. Children got into groups, made up some characters, wrote a script down, learned it by heart and acted it out in class in front of their classmates. It's been an engaging and a very rewarding activity indeed! If you want to know more about it ask your child. Do not forget to check the photos below!

Oliver Twist Play 4th Grade

Fruit Salad

Today, we made a fruit salad in class. First, we wrote the recipe in our scrapbook and then we went shopping for fruit. Claire came to school and spend the afternoon playing and having fun with us. We learnt how to ask for things in a shop as well as that in the UK they use pounds and pence instead of euros and cents. Have a look at photos below.
